Tomlinson Hall Renovation to be Completed this Fall

March 26, 2026 Construction on the first floor of Tomlinson Hall is scheduled to begin in early April and will continue through August. This partial renovation will introduce a new food service island, along with updated dining and seating areas.
The Case Alumni Association Office and Tomlinson Marketplace will remain open throughout the project. Temporary construction barriers will be in place on the first level for the duration of the work.
The Tomlinson Dining Renovation (Phase 1) project is managed by the Department of Campus Planning & Facilities Management at Case Western Reserve University. Learn more about the project below.

Total project cost: $3.7M
Scope of Project: The project includes approximately 5,500 SF of interior renovations of the first floor of Tomlinson Hall to incorporate a food service island, dining space and seating area. This renovation leverages prior investments in Tomlinson to update dining platforms, meet current dining demands from an overall growth of enrollment, and meet increased future dining demands when the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Building opens.
